无机玻璃钢通风管(又称玻璃纤维氯氧镁水泥通风管)是以氯氧镁水泥为胶结料中碱玻璃纤维为增强材料、加入填充材料和改性剂等所制成的一种管材。它具有不燃烧、属不燃材料A级,耐腐蚀、强度高和重量轻等特点。在建筑工程、地下工程及工业厂房的通风中,它已经完全取代了不耐燃的有机玻璃钢通风管,并在逐步取代防腐性能差的镀锌铁皮通风管。尤其是在湿度大的地下工程和长江以南地区,它的优越性更为显著。

根据国家建筑材料行业标准《玻镁风管》JC646-2006标准的规定,通风管道分为整体普通型风管、整体保温型风管和组合保温型风管三种类型,该三种通风管道不适用于住宅建筑的排油烟管道。
